I thought this set was very cool with all the glass…..seeing through to the books inside. I even discovered there was an elevator inside. I was thinking “wow”.
First of all, the shaft for the elevator to rise and fall was not well constructed. It was flimsy. Then the controls for the elevator were super sensitive so that as we were building, we would hit it and the elevator would suddenly begin to go up or down. After we got ALL the walls in, we tried the elevator. It seemed to work ok. But the second time it went up, the entire shaft flew all apart……meaning the entire wall had to come down to reach the elevator shaft for the fix. It was very stressful but we finally did get it back together. Would not recommend for this reason.
